Denario de Julio Cesar. CAESAR. Eneas. Ceca Norteafricana

Es un denario " de medio pelo" pero me parece bonito..mide 18mm y pesa 3,7gr... Bass cuidadin con Ben que es un peligro.

Julius Caesar AR Denarius. African mint, 47 BC. Diademed bust of Venus right / Aeneas advancing left, carring palladium in right hand and Anchises on left shoulder, CAESAR to right. Julia 10; Crawford 458/1; Sydenham 1013; Sear 55. 3.89g, 17mm, 7h.

With this type, Caesar makes reference to the ancestry of his family. The gens Julia claimed descent from Venus through Aeneas, who was the
product of a union between his father Anchises and the goddess. Venus, Caesar’s divine ancestor, is displayed on the obverse; Aeneas, progenitor of the gens Julia through his son Iulus, is depicted on the reverse carrying his father Anchises from the burning ruins of Troy.

Por cierto, ¿qué lleva en el cuello Venus? una marca de banquero o un golpe?
